At Rochill Kennels, we breed for the total dog and put health and temperament first and foremost. I try to breed a well balanced dog...not extreme. Masculine males and pretty girls. I have to admit that Sables are my favorite.
I breed only to totally healthy dogs. I believe tempament is 95% environmental and raise all litters in the house with kids and other dogs. Rochill puppies receive tons of exposure and are exposed to a wide variety of situations so they leave here pretty well adjusted to anything. I do my best to research pedigrees for health problems. All breeding dogs have cleared the OFA for hips, elbows and thyroid. We also like to see eyes CERF certified.

When placing pups, I offer a health guarantee against any hereditary problems up to 5 yrs of age and will replace any SHOW quality pups with another show quality pup. I will also replace pets if they come back to me. Per my contract, any dog who's owner is unable to care for them must come back to me.

I enjoy seeing my pups succeed in the rings and am happy to show my pups although my goal as a breeder is to breed dogs good enough for the owners to finish themselves. I try to be easy to work with and can provide references on co-ownerships.
